Terms of Service

Rules governing website use, orders, equipment information, delivery, installation, and legal responsibilities.

Last updated: August 6, 2026.

These Terms of Service govern use of djmdirectservice.com and purchases from DJM Direct Service. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference.

Store use

You may use the store only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with store operation, misuse another person’s information, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape the store in a manner that disrupts service, or use the website to violate law or third-party rights.

Product information

We work to present accurate descriptions, specifications, photographs, availability, and pricing. Manufacturers can revise products, and minor visual or packaging differences can occur. Measurements and performance information should be independently confirmed when critical to compatibility, installation, safety, or a regulated application.

Orders and acceptance

An order submission is an offer to purchase. We can accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order before shipment for reasons including inventory, pricing or description error, payment issues, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions, or inability to satisfy delivery requirements. If a canceled order has been charged, the applicable amount will be returned.

Prices, payment, and taxes

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable shipping, taxes, and other charges are shown during checkout or communicated before collection. You represent that payment and billing information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Delivery, inspection, and returns

Shipping is governed by the Shipping Policy and Delivery Information page. Returns are governed by the Returns Policy and require authorization. Customers are responsible for inspecting deliveries, following carrier-damage procedures, and using suitable equipment and qualified personnel for unloading and installation.

Installation and safe use

Automotive lifts, electrical equipment, compressed-air equipment, and other machinery can create serious hazards. Products must be installed, inspected, maintained, and used according to manufacturer instructions, applicable codes, site conditions, and qualified-professional requirements. Website content is general information and does not replace engineering, code, electrical, structural, or safety advice.

Intellectual property

Store content, branding, layout, text, graphics, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or commercially exploit store content without permission, except as permitted by law.

Third-party services and links

The store can rely on or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, carriers, and external websites. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices beyond obligations imposed by applicable law.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis. Product warranties, if any, are those expressly stated in the product listing, manufacturer documentation, or a separate written agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DJM Direct Service will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from store use or a product. Any limitation applies only to the extent lawful and does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify DJM Direct Service against claims arising from your unlawful use of the store, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or misuse, unauthorized installation, or unsafe operation of a product.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Any dispute will be handled in a court with lawful jurisdiction unless the parties agree to another process.

Changes and severability

We can update these Terms by posting a revised version. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
